MW Hi-Torque forged steel axles are the perfect oval track axle. Made to the exact length required, and feature hobbed involute splines to match stock differentials, posi-tractions, and aftermarket spools (28, 30, 31, 35, and 40 spline). To accommodate the oval track market, these axles have a 45mm I.D. bearing journal and thicker flange that can withstand the higher weight and harsher surface conditions. The bearings are retained by a threaded lock ring. They and are in-house austemper heat treated.  Can be drilled to match the most popular 5 on 4-1/2", 5 on 4-3/4", and 5 on 5" wheel patterns. The holes are tapped to accept 1/2"-20, 5/8-18", or 5/8"-11 wheel studs. Get detailed information on what is needed to ensure that your new axles are a perfect fit on our How To Order Axles page. *Note* These axles are custom produced for 9" Ford and GM rears. Ford axles need to use a large 3.150" O.D. housing end, MW weld on ends - p/n's: 57700 (smal Ford), 57750 (large Ford), 58700 (small GM), 58740 (large GM), or MW bolt on adapter kit - 57760 (large Ford), 57770 (new style Ford), 58800 (small GM), 58740 (large GM - OBSOLETE) purchased separately.
