GM 12 BOLT CARRIER NOTES

Check the distance from the bearing shoulder to ring gear flange ("A") to determine the carrier series for proper ring & pinion selection.

3 series Carriers are 3.07 to 3.73 ratios. | 4 series carriers are 3.73 and numerically higher ratios.

Some 4 series ratios can be used in 3 series carrier with the use of a special cross pin, P/N 80-0269.
