Travis

LOVING the new Mark Williams differential, axles, and driveshaft Travis! It’s very evident Mark Williams builds top notch products and I’m now proud to be running MW products throughout my car.  The whole process and transaction with you was seamless… in fact it was probably the best experience I’ve had with any racing component manufacture in the industry. Thanks again for all your help Travis… I definitely will be a return customer, and will be referring fellow racers to you every opportunity I get!

P.S. FIRST race out with the new setup I took my stick shift Mustang to the top of the pro class at my hometown (airport) track. See attached photos.

Thanks again Travis, and I’m sure will talk again in the future.

Hi Mark,
My name is Joe Kelly, I recently purchased a new drive shaft from your company. I was lucky enough to work with Travis Podratz, who is very knowledgeable about racing and equipment. My previous DS was a carbon fiber one piece which has never performed well. It would vibrate beginning at 60 mph. Clocking it three times at the advice of 'The Drive Shaft Shop' did not resolve the problem. They said they would check it if I sent it back to them, but they were at least 6 weeks behind. They would not grantee that they could resolve the problem. I've been messing with this for over a year. Not willing to waste at least one half of the racing season, a friend, Larry Cleveland, suggested that I call Travis. I can't say I have ever worked with a more competent and caring businessman like Travis. He walked me thru the construction of your DS, and I was sold.

I had it installed by a company in your area, who apparently did not install it correctly. The DS still vibrated. I called Travis who was very responsive and immediately offered to reinspect it and also suggested a gentleman who could do the installation work. Travis cared enough to show up during the installation, along with another employee, to assure the work was done properly. They also went with me on a short test drive. I am really happy with the result. No vibration at all, including two visits to Bandimere. He checked back with me just to make sure it was preforming up to expectations. It's not often these days to find a company that is so dedicated to offering a quality product and standing behind it. I have nothing but praise for Travis and your company for your exemplary product and service. You are lucky to have an employee with such high standards and excellent customer care.

There are LOTS of vendors to "personally" thank that have been involved in this build, and I’m working on contacting all of you. Thanks, Mark Williams Enterprises! I’m very confident to "put the power down" with your BADASS carbon fiber driveshaft and 1350 greaseless u-joints.

"Find attached photos and a build sheet of our dragster which we have been racing since 2012. We recently won the NEII March Meet for the second year in a row. We wanted to thank you for the excellent quality of your product. Car owner is Ron Lindblad, Driver is Terry Lindblad, and I am Marlin Keller, crew chief for the KLM race team in Chico Ca.

The chassis was first built in 1966 by MW, and was later brought to specs in 1969. We assembled the current car in 2012 and first raced it at March Meet in 2013. We run a 392 Hemi and Hilborn injection. The car has also placed second in the Heritage NHRA series twice and we had our eye on the championship this year, but the racing may never get going.

We really like the Mark Williams rear end, axles, coupler and frontend. The car goes straight every pass and we have licensed 16 year old girls in this car at the 8.60 class."

We want to send a big shout out and congratulations to Bret and Morgan Stephen for the ProET win at the NHRA Lucas Oil Divisional Series (Div 6) event on 9/13-15, 2019. Morgan drove their 1967 Mustang to the winners' circle, and Bret had this to say:

"I just wanted to thank you [Travis] and Mark Williams for all your help over the last couple of years. We finally put our 1967 Mustang in the winners circle at our last Lucas Oil Divisional Race in Woodburn, OR running all Mark Williams front and rear breaks, drive line and complete rear end assembly."

Thank you Bret and Morgan for letting MW be a part of your journey to the top!

I have been a Mark Williams customer for over 40 years - and throughout that time have never had any product failure.  From the MW axles used in the Oldsmobile casing of my 1977 dragster in the UK to the complete 11" modular rear end in my current Nostalgia Funny Car, never a single failure.   I wish every other component of these cars had been so reliable.  My funny car has averaged between 35 and 40 runs per year for the last 7 years and with no more than an annual oil change for the axle, the gears look like they did on the day they were new - evidence of what my employer (Snap-on Tools) always says - "We'd rather explain the price of quality than apologize for something less"

Congratulations To David Rampy On Winning His 79th "Wally"
A tip of the helmet to “Rambo,” who recently annexed his 79th NHRA National event title. David has been a valued customer of Mark Williams Enterprises since 1982 and has won a substantial amount of M-W’s contingency cash over the years. His all-conquering A/EA is equipped with Mark Williams Hi-Torque axles.

K & K Motorsports, Inc. has nearly 500 runs on the MW 11" modular (with original ring and pinion) with no problems.

"I’m sending four photos, one at Goodguys 2013 and in front of the shop. When I shot your brake and axle I thought “quality parts and service for a long, long time”. You could challenge the street crowd to “get serious” with photos of your rear ends and brakes. I show off your rear end every chance I get. Thanks again, Gary Joplin"

Thea Zancarella won the PSCA Rocky Mountain Summer Series XDR class in June 2015, and had the quickest pass of the day in the class for the finals - Congrats, Thea!!

We love to see how things progress. This is Todd Steele's '67 Camaro with a blown 540, Dart block and heads, Doug Nash tranny, and MW Ford 9" rear.....looks great!!

This is the first car Murf Mckinney built with the modular 11".
I absolutely love the 11" assembly,
as its maintenance free!.... Something that is rare on one of these cars!
