MW manufactures steel billet open carriers for 9" Ford and the MW 12" Modular. The 9" unit utilizes 31-spline axle gears and 4 pinion gears. The bearing journals are oversize and require a 3.250" bore case. The 12" carrier is also a 4 pinion design fro heat treated 4140 and is available with 40 or 35-spline axle side gears. The 12" carrier is available for 2.91 and 3.20 ratios and 3.73 thru 5.83 ratios.
