5/8 - 18 Steel Wheel Stud Kit  2.875" Overall Length / 1 3/16" Shoulder Length

These studs are the strongest and smoothest 5/8" wheel studs on the market. Completely Made in the USA, they are machined from raw material and heat treated in house at Mark Williams. All studs start life as high strength steel alloy that is machined and then thread rolled for smooth, strong, and perfect threads. These studs are black oxide coated.

The steel axle drive stud is designed so the 11/16" diameter shoulder on the stud is used to center the wheel, rather than the lug nut used with smaller studs. This system dramatically increases shear strength and eliminates bent wheel studs. These studs require 5/8"-18 threaded holes in the axle flange. Drive studs are then secured in the flange with a jam nut.
