GM 12 Bolt 30 spline Eaton Posi Traction 3 Series

Eaton Posi Traction carrier for GM 12 bolt. This clutch type Ford 30 spline posi-traction is recommended for smooth operation street applications that are limited to 30 spline axles. Fits series 3 gears 3.08 to 4.10, 30 spline 400 lb preload unit with carbon fiber disc pack. 

There are a number of excellent aftermarket posi-traction units which have proven to be exceptionally reliable in increased power street machines. These units provide increased traction prior to wheel spin. This is accomplished through the use of pre-loaded friction discs and, to some degree, the wedging action of the axle gear. This distributes torque to the wheel with superior traction rather than letting the wheel without traction to spin free. All Eaton™ units are equipped with carbon fiber clutches.
