Dragster CV Driveshaft Assembly for 27-Spline Shorty Powerglide & Ford 9

Add a CV driveshaft to your dragster using this kit which includes everything required to convert to a CV shaft.

Features:

• 27 spline 7075 aluminum transmission housing that bolts to the transmission
• Center driveshaft made from shot peened 300M material for ultimate strength
• CV Joint lightened and finished with Supra-Fin Isotropic finishing process
• CV comes pre lubed
• 9" differential pinion flange is included and available in the 28- and 35-spline configurations

The CV joint includes retaining cups and high-speed boots. The center shafts are made to fit your specific chassis-engine-transmission combination, and the assembly is delivered ready for bolt-in installation.

Note: The following recommendations are made for CV driveshafts for build design of use case as well as operating conditions.

• Never warm up the vehicle with the wheels hanging as this over extends the joints and can cause premature failure
• Proper Engine to Rearend alignment at ride height with extension considerations (call our sales team as this varies between lengths of driveshaft)
• Proper maintenance is required to service CV joints regularly, we recommend once a year
• Use case and power thresholds limited to 1500 hp
